Support – FunSyd

Foreningen for unge nydanskere I Sønderjylland (FUNS) is seeking donations to finance projects in various sectors: health sector, education sector, and microcredit. This can be both financial and material support. Donors will receive detailed reports on how their money or equipment was spent or distributed. You can support us with any amount and help to make another person’s life better.

How can you help?

You can back up FUNS work both as a private individual and as a company. As a private individual, you can support us financially with membership or by sending contributions. You can also back up our work by donating your used items.

Our organization will provide opportunities for interested individuals both, regardless of race and religious background, to partner in order to improve the lives of the less privileged in society. FUNS encourage volunteers to provide their expertise and experience for FUNS’s long-term development.

Your support ensures that children receive medicine, food, clothing, shoes, blankets and seeds, school fees and school uniform, adult care and support, information on rights and guidance in everyday life.

Support education

It’s about giving children and young people a good start in life. Right now, FUNS is focusing on the children who, because of the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo, are not going to school.

Many of them have been recruited for child soldiers, and others have experienced abuse and are completely without protection. Several schools have been destroyed or closed for a long time, and the lack of schooling has major consequences for children’s future.

Children have the right to play and learning

Not only do they experience being ripped out of the everyday life they know with schooling, play and learning, but the lack of schooling creates heavy consequences for the children and their future opportunity.

Children in humanitarian settings

Children in humanitarian settings are especially vulnerable. During armed conflict, natural disasters and other emergencies, children may be forced to flee their homes, some torn from their families and exposed to exploitation and abuse along the way. They may be injured or killed by explosive weapons in conflict or recruited by armed forces.

Support for entrepreneurs (micro credit)

It’s about self-help – that’s why FUNS work to help women in Afrika create a self-sufficient future. Some may be helped to start small businesses, others support to buy seeds and utensils, to grow their own food.

Did you know that your company or as an individual person can get tax credits for any donation?

You can get deductions as high as DKK 16,600 per year (in 2021). All you have to do is add the company’s CVR number or your personal CPR number and we will report the amount to Skat.
